Ingredients

  • 4 celery stalks
  • ½ cup peanut butter (or sunbutter for nut-free)
  • ¼ cup raisins

Steps

  1. 1

Wash the celery stalks and pat them dry.

  2. 2

Trim the ends off each stalk (an adult can help with this step).

  3. 3

Cut each stalk in half if you'd like shorter pieces.

  4. 4

Spread peanut butter (or sunbutter) into the curved groove of each celery stalk.

  5. 5

Press raisins into the peanut butter, lined up like little ants on a log.

  6. 6

Serve right away, or store in the fridge for up to a day.

Kids can help with:

  • Washing the celery
  • Spreading the peanut butter into the celery groove with a butter knife
  • Placing the raisin "ants" on top

Tips & Notes

  • Swap peanut butter for sunbutter or another allergy-friendly spread if needed.
  • Try other toppings instead of raisins, like dried cranberries or mini chocolate chips, for a fun twist.
Contains: peanuts (or tree nuts, depending on spread used). Always check ingredient labels and adjust for your child's own allergies and dietary needs.
