Origami: Dog Face

A classic, kid-friendly origami project — no scissors or glue needed, just one square sheet of paper and a pen for the face. Print this page for step-by-step folding instructions.

  1. Step 1 diagramStart with a square sheet of paper. Fold it in half corner to corner to make a triangle.
  2. Step 2 diagramTurn the triangle so the long folded edge is along the top and the single point faces down — this point will become the dog’s chin.
  3. Step 3 diagramFold the two top corners down and out a little so they hang below the folded edge. These become the dog’s floppy ears.
  4. Step 4 diagramFold the bottom point up a short way to make the dog’s chin and snout.
