Origami: Dog Face
A cute puppy face with floppy ears in just four folds, then draw on the face. Follow the pictures: dashed lines show where to fold, and blue arrows show which way. No scissors or glue needed.
- Valley fold (fold toward you)

- Step 1.
Fold in half into a triangle
Turn your square so it looks like a diamond, white side facing up. Fold the top corner down to the bottom corner and press the crease flat.
- Step 2.
Fold down the ears
Now the colored side shows and the folded edge is on top. Fold each side corner down at a slant along the dashed line, so its tip lands on the dot, outside the face. These are the floppy ears.
- Step 3.
Fold up the snout
The bottom point has two layers. Fold just the front layer up along the dashed line. The white tip is your dog’s snout.
- Step 4.
Fold the chin behind
Fold the back layer’s point behind the face along the same line, so the chin is flat.
- Step 5.
Draw the face
Draw two eyes, color in the tip of the snout as a nose, and add a smile. Your dog is done. Woof!
You made a dog face! 🎉
Fold a few in different colors and give each dog its own look: spots, a tongue, or eyebrows. They make great decorations for cards and bookmarks.
