Answer Key
- F sharp — The note sits in the bottom space (F). The key is D major, whose signature sharpens every F, so it sounds F sharp.
- E — One ledger line below the bass staff is E.
- B flat — The note is in the space just above the top line (B). The key is F major, which flattens every B, so it sounds B flat.
- C — The third space of the treble staff is C.
- A flat — One ledger line above the treble staff is A; the flat sign lowers it to A flat.
